I'm not the first one to run into this problem, but in searching around I couldn't actually find anyone who had actually bothered to solve the problem: how to get an RSS feed from a publicly accessible facebook wall. The facebook wall can either be a fan-page wall or a publicly accessible group's wall.
Why let something like non-existance get in the way?
Despite the fact that Facebook does not have RSS feeds for Wall posts, I've hacked my very own Facebook wall to RSS gateway and added RSS feeds from the Descent Sundays Facebook fan-page wall and the Rock and Roll High-School and Sin City group walls to the Gothic BC news aggregator so you can get all your news in one place - and I am looking for more things to add. So if you have any suggestions of publicly available Facebook groups and fan-pages, or other feeds to add, let me know!
I could easily spend the rest of the day just wading through the gazillion messages in my inbox and not get a thing done, let alone blogging about the wedding. Elaine has posted some thank-you's in her journal and I have set up an FTP account for uploading photos.
Leo You really have no idea what to do next, but don't despair -- advice is on the way! You should put off making any big decision for a few days, and should be able to act with confidence at that point.
Created from a picture I took at Sin City last Hallowe'en (model: Rheannon Lena McMullen) and a photograph from when I visited the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004.
Apparently the federal government has preemptively sent extra body-bags out to remote native communities in anticipation of swine flu making the rounds this winter.
Somewhere in Ottawa, someone thought this was a good idea and the best course of action.
