- Australian ships annex German South Pacific territories
- Austrian army abandons Hungary
- Germans attacking the outer defences of Antwerp
- German soldiers mutilating children
- German prince being a dick
- [And most interestingly today] Decision made in Ottawa that no one from Germany or Austria-Hungary will be granted citizenship until after the war is over [this is a big development toward the coming internment of "enemy aliens" (predominently ethnic Ukrainians from Galacia)]
