I've just finished adding a new feature: now logged-in users can tag their friends in pictures in the photo gallery. Once you have added someone to your friends list just use the "tag friends" link in the caption area of the photo you want to tag.
To add friends to your friends list, first go to their user profile (you can search for users by expanding the "My friends" menu and clicking "User Search" OR by clicking the "Search" tab near the top right corner of the screen and then clicking on the "User Search" tab on the search page), then use the "add to my friends list" link on their profile. They'll get an e-mail about the request and can then accept or deny it.
