Bwaaahahaha So much for nostalgia.
So I just spent the afternoon at Shona's party with my ex-wife in attendance. I haven't actually seen her in a few years. My jaw nearly hit the floor when I saw her. Holy bull-dyke from hell! I realized my reaction was pretty obvious so I quickly made a comment about her hair looking good short and carried on.
We had a pleasant conversation and she only got one dig in about drinking too much coffee being bad (why is she still compelled to rag on me?), but other than that charming trait whoever it was that I married just does not exist anymore. At least now I know why I don't run into her. She's on a whole different planet now. It's unbelievable. I she had been walking on the other side of the street like I thought the other day, I wouldn't have recognized her.
So there you go, like I said, five minutes in the same room with her and all the nostalgia goes away. Maybe this time for good.
