Sarcastic, Bored, or Somewhat Useless (1/14)

This is the first of fourteen comics I did about 10 years ago that distill my entire university art education down into 31 rules - one for each thousand dollars I owed on my student loans when I graduated. The characters were conceived sitting in the original manky offices of Terminal City, above the Town Pump (now Sonar) in Gastown. The first two comics were done in 1993 and were going to run in Terminal City, but that fell apart. I started drawing them regularly for my website in late 1999 but abandoned it fairly quickly. In 2001 I made a lame attempt to pick it up again and these characters have sat idle since.

There will be one a day for the next two weeks.
