OK, this glosses over a lot of stuff and is by no means the whole picture, but it isn't really intended to be. This is a very simplified, not-to-scale, timeline intended to show some of the complexity and historical context for what is going on at the moment. This is all straight out of my head and I didn't verify anything, so forgive me if I have made a mistake or two.
What a wonderful world we live in where faceless cowards and liars can do what they do. And I'm not just talking about the terrorists, but the ordinary liars and cowards like the some of the ones reading this. The ones that chose to fire me without warning for part of my passionate reaction to what happened Tuesday.
