Calling it "done" (a.k.a. "gave up and varnished it".) I'll take a better photo of it later because getting the light just right to tell the gold is shiny without glare from the varnish requires alchemy with two polarized lights that I can't be arsed to set up right now. I also want to get a photo comparing it to the 1998 version of the same portrait. And then there is the timelapse of all the flailing false-starts into new territories that I was playing with.
