Rather than be a poop about it, I anted up for an office 6/49 pool. I'm now partial owner of 114 lottery numbers which improves the odds of winning to a remarkable 0.000815% with the payoff being
1/
57th of $42 million ($736,842.11), if, of course the prize is not shared, which is not likely. Odds are it will be split two or three times, depending on the number of tickets sold, further reducing the payoff accordingly.
