Photography, History and Whatever Else Strikes my Fancy.
Well, I paid for my stereo camera this morning, and it will be shipping by insured USPS. I can hardly wait until it shows up.
In a fit of massive geekery I bought this:
The Latin edition of Harry Potter. Honestly, could anything be geekier than that?
I took some Latin in university and always wished I had gone further with it, so this will be an exersize in stretching my brain. I've wanted this particular book for a while since finding anything between "canis in via sedet" basics and Pliny the Elder is that isn't painfully dry is pretty much impossible (although there is a translation of Winnie the Pooh out there, apparently).
And lastly, I am anxiously awaiting the approach of noon, which is 9:00 Tuesday morning in New Zealand, to see when my interview will be set up. It could be as early as tonight, but I expect it will be set up for a little later in the week.
