Photography, History and Whatever Else Strikes my Fancy.
| Complete contents of the office across from me: some discarded cables, a garbage can, a recycling box, three old phone books, a drawer file insert, two screws in the wall from art that was removed, the Jasper Johns poster you see that I moved in from elsewhere to alleviate some of the bleakness, and an empty cardboard box. The closer door to the right is an empty boardroom. The table is gone. There is nothing in there but one potted tree, the network and power cables that used to feed through the table, and an empty credenza. The further door to the right is the empty office of old company's V.P. in charge of environmental policy and first-nations relationships. The company I *used* to work for was an innovator in those areas and was something I was proud of. This company does what it has to by law, if that. Just under six months to go. 177 days, not counting today actually. Not that I'm counting or anything...
