OK, in regards to this post I got the hankering to play and downloaded a PET emulator program. Here is a fine example of Mircosoft bloat... to emulate a 4K Commodore PET under Windows I just downloaded a 2.6 Megabyte .zip file that expanded out to 6.6 Mb install. To be fair the emulator supports other Commodore machines like the C-64 and VIC-20, but still... 6 Mb? However, as you can see below - it works!
