1.) The building is decent looking |

It may may pale a bit compared to its landmarkneighbours across the street (the BC Gas Building, the Arthur Ericson-designed MacMillan-Bloedel Building, and the Royal Bank Tower) but it is not a bad looking building with it's rounded corners and barrel-vaulted and cantilevered glass portico (which is a bit hard to see here). |
2.) My office has a view |

3.) I have an office |

It's a bit devoid of decoration right now, but it is a real office. |
4.) Attention to detail |
|
Almost all the hardware in the office is black (IBM or Dell), all the coffee cups in both coffee rooms are matching corporate cups (not a Ziggy nor any other inane "clever" mug to be seen), the walls are covered in actual art (not watered down, lowest common denominator corporate crap, and not a single "hang in there" cat or similar anywhere), nothing anywhere reeks of the commonplace bad-taste of a past decade (e.g. no outdated brown and orange 70's colours, and no pastel 80's anything)... I could go on. Bottom line is
I like my job!! |
