Looking forward to impending normalcy

OK, yesterday sucked, considering the getting up at five o'clock in the morning and getting home at eleven o'clock at night thing, but I made it through and there was a major highlight I will post subsequently in a friend's-only post. Today it was a bit hard to get out of bed so I ended up a few minutes later than usual for work, but I made up for it at the end of the day. After work today was another great big ball of suckage... I hate this transition crap. I still have invoices to get out and work to do, but its not exactly my first choice of activities after spending the whole day wrapping my head around a new job. Nonetheless it still needs to be done. I am very much looking forward to the day when all I have to do is go to my good job and watch the money show up in my bank account on a regular basis. I'm tired of this independent consultant shit for now. Maybe I'll try it again in a few years when I've got my old debts out of the way (like the damned student loan).

It was decided today where my permanent office is going to be. I'll be staying in the office I am in now. This is good news because it means I can start settling in. I think I will bring my camera in with me tomorrow so I can show you all my new digs. I just want to settle in and get into the groove of it all now.
